Owner/Instructor Gabriela Delgadillo:
I am from Jalisco, Mexico. I came to the USA about 9 ½ years ago and moved to Truckee. I started working at Lengua Viva in 2007 as an assistant teacher. After two years, I became the head teacher and when the opportunity presented itself to take over the business, my husband and I didn’t hesitate. I have been teaching Spanish to children and adults for almost 5 years now. I love working with children of all ages. I learn from them and I like to share the Spanish language and Mexican culture. I have one daughter, Amy who is in the Spanish Immersion Program at Kings Beach Elementary and a three year boy, Conrad who is in our pre-school program. I believe that speaking both Spanish and English is very important, especially in California, and it gives you more opportunities to interact with other cultures and know more people in your community.
My husband and I are both CPR certified and are licensed in the State of California to operate a Family Day Care Home. Our Facility License # is 293616938.
Owner/Instructor Conrad Delgadillo:
My wife and I moved to Truckee over 9 years ago and I started working in construction. In Mexico I taught physical education for elementary and middle school students and coached soccer and volleyball. I also taught Balet Folklorico. I love working with children and am excited to share my passion for movement and dance with all of our students.
